Court. It’s a word that, for many foster parents, conjures up feelings of fear, nervousness, and the unsettling butterflies of the unknown. While you do not need to dive deep into all the legalese, it may help to know the basics, as well as what you can do to get yourself and the older child or teen in your care ready for court.
