Family Fun at Little Amerricka – Sponsored by Jockey Being Family: Marshall
June 24 @ 11:45 am - 5:00 pm
Adoptive, foster, guardianship, relative/kinship families– Please join us for an afternoon of family fun at Little Amerricka Amusement Park! This event is generously sponsored by the WI Department of Children & Families & Jockey Being Family. Little Amerricka is an old-fashioned amusement park featuring 26 rides and attractions, including a roller coaster, Ferris wheel, tilt-a-whirl, bumper boats, bumper cars, go karts, 18-hole mini-golf, the Whiskey River Railway, and much more! We have reserved the picnic shelter for our group this year, so families will have a nice spot to take a break and connect with other families. Food is available for purchase at the park. Carry-in food and drink is also allowed, so feel free to pack a picnic!
Tickets are just $5 per person (normally $27). Each ticket holder will receive a gold wristband which allows unlimited riding on all the rides and includes miniature golf and the Whiskey River Railway as well. Some of the rides do have height requirements. See https://www.littleamerricka.com/faq for more information.
Advance registration is REQUIRED. On the day of the event, registered families can meet us at the picnic shelter anytime between11:45am and 2:00pm. We will check you in, distribute wrist bands, and give each family a Jockey drawstring bag full of goodies. Each family will also be required to sign Little Amerricka’s liability waiver at that time. Families are welcome to stay at the park all afternoon. (Closes at 5pm.)
There are a LIMITED number of tickets available for this event.
If you have any questions about this event or if you have a large family and would like to request a scholarship to help cover the cost, please contact Jessica at Jessica@wisapsp.org.
*Due to popularity of family events, please let your local WISAPS specialist (jessica@wisapsp.org or judi@wisapsp.org) know ahead of time if there is any reason you can no longer attend or need fewer tickets than you originally signed up for. We would like to accommodate as many families as possible.
