We all need help sometimes, especially when struggles come up post adoption and we feel isolated. It may be just after the adoption, or 10 years later. Children who have come into our families through adoption have experienced a loss, and this trauma can impact your entire family.
But you are not alone.
There are people to go through this journey with you. Parents have such wealth of knowledge and sometimes the best support we have is other adoptive parents.
Join the Coalition for Children, Youth & Families for a night of positive conversation, dinner, and connecting with other adoptive parents. We will spend time in small groups, discussing together how we build our networks of support and how we ask others for help.
