Being a foster or adoptive parent is a labor of love, yet too often, the work of these quiet heroes is overlooked and underappreciated. The Foster Care and Adoption Resource Center is one of the many ways we are working to ensure that our foster care and adoptive families have access to the resources, information and support they need.

Governor Jim Doyle

We have been foster parents with St. A's for about four years now. We appreciate their understanding of the type of children in foster care we believe will match our lifestyle. I appreciate how well our team works together.

As a trainer, I appreciate our foster parents’ enthusiasm for learning and their willingness to share experiences. As a social worker, I commend them for opening their homes and hearts to children whenever needed.

Foster Parents, the gift of your time and energy makes a significant difference not only in the lives of the children that you care for but in our entire community.  We can never thank you enough for your ongoing commitment
